Karan Shooting Academy was established on the month of june 2014. The main purpose of our academy is to find out the new & hidden talent of the area and put it into the map of the world.
Mr. Jagbir Singh (Ex. Army Coach,Life Member-NRAI,ISSF-B Judge) is the founder of this academy. The academy providing a platform to young blood of the area, as well as of Haryana. The main motive of Karan Shooting Academy is to win Gold medal at Olympic level and preparing shooters for high level of Competitions & performance in shooting games. The demand and growth of shooting game increasing day by day, because now shooting is a very popular game in India. Karan shooting Academy gives a new way of life to youngsters through shooting. 1) What is shooting ?

Shooting as a sport has been practiced for hundreds of years in European countries, with some German shooting clubs dating back more than 500 years. The popularity of the sport grew in English-speaking countries with the formation of the National Rifle Association in 1859, which originally met in Wimbledon, London, and the National Rifle Association (USA) in 1871.
There are 15 events in the Olympic programme, divided into three different groups: rifle, pistol and shotgun. The rifle and pistol competitions are held on shooting ranges, where marksmen aim at targets at distances of 10, 25 and 50 metres. In the shotgun event, competitors shoot at clay targets propelled at a series of different directions and angles.

4) Is shooting an Olympic game ?

Actual Shooting Events at the Olympic Games
The Olympic Programme of Shooting Sport includes 15 total events of three disciplines: Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun. Olympians compete in six men events, six women events and three mixed team events. Each event consists in a qualification phase, followed by a final phase.
